What Is Thirteen Minus 6

The official english lexicon says that dozens is another word for 12, which is non the word that we're supposed to be looking for.

That was good.

Mixee.

That was piece of cake! Just i even so had 2 call up about it. Good 1!

"Xiii" as well works. Information technology just contains half dozen messages; two of them are used twice. Subtract just one from 13 and twelve remains.

I like your answer better!!

I love it, and information technology'due south fun enough to share. Thanks

that was a proficient one

I thought it was twelven or something similar that.LOL

Great task! I like that one.

Clever! I think I heard this one before.

That was proficient

Clever teaser. Thanks for posting.

Very good teaser

very like shooting fish in a barrel for a alter. good one though

Easy Fun!

I idea the answer was '13'. It contains more than half-dozen messages, but contains six none the less. I recollect it would fit.

oops someone already said my thought. sorry

Easy, but clever. Enjoyed this one.

The respond could also be thirteen. 13 only has six letters in it (although 't' and 'e' are repeated).

Like shooting fish in a barrel, just still a good teaser.

cool
that was i of my faves!!!

I'm impressed with the answer dogg6pound9 came upwards with. If it had been that hard I don't think I would have gotten it.

Thank you for the teaser.

Very slick fob you got there!!

Way too easy! Hardly had to think.

I got his one, also! I liked this teaser! Happy December, every one! Let it snow! Allow information technology snow! Allow information technology snow!

Piece of cake, only fun. I also liked the alternate answer of 13 that was suggested above.

Lol i like that one

I liked the answers 'thirteen' and 'zonked' much better. I got to dozen right away only would never accept gone to simply 's'. I saw zoned; wished I'd seen a 'thou' in it! To me it belongs in trick instead of riddle.

Xiii can't be an alternative considering information technology contains more than six letters. I think "zonked" is slap-up!

thirteen works. I think

LGM
(why is he laughing?)

13 doesn't piece of work. It has eight letters. Also, how does removing one letter of the alphabet brand information technology twelve?
LGM, y'all said you were new to this site, but your sense of humor sounds familiar. Are you back to this site after a while away?

People are suggesting thirteen works because there are only half dozen unlike letters in information technology:

T= one
H= two
I = 3
R = iv
Due east = 5
N = half dozen

And the teaser does not say to remove a letter, virtually of us just read it to hateful that. What information technology really says is "Subtract but one..." if you subtract i from thirteen, you get 12.
(thirteen-one=12)

C'monday Habs, you are better than that. Teaser states it has six letters and to remove i. Quite an easy teaser.

I'm gonna stick with Habs. His logic looks good.

Besides .... what .... ? Is the world gonna come to an stop because a puzzle has more than one feasible answer?

LGM
(why is he laughing?)

... to gw .....

Living a life without mystery is similar getting a Christmas present in a transparent box.

LGM
(why is he laughing?)

Kind of surprised when solved that I was correct-seemed like it was easier than I expected-that'due south okay!!

Got this later on a few minutes. I thought it was a good teaser. Why IS LGM laughing?

Fun, easy and entertaining teaser.

I loved this teaser - clever and fun! Thanks!
